

Min. Georgia Payne was born in Bonita, Louisiana. She is the eldest of five children. She grew up in Fairbanks Alaska from age 9-16. The family later moved to Spokane WA where she graduated from Joel E Ferris high school. Min. Payne has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Central Washington University, and post graduate work from Eastern Washington University’s Masters of Social Work Program. She has a diploma in Practical Theology from International Seminary, Plymouth FL. Min. Payne retired in July 2020 after 34 years of service with the Department of Social and Health Services as Sr. Manager of the Division of Child Support’s statewide Tribal Relations program.
Min. Payne was called into the ministry in 2015. She is the First Lady of Second Baptist Church in Everett WA, where her husband Rev. Hiller Payne is the pastor. She serves as Children’s Church Director, and is part of the ministerial staff. She also serves in the Helping Hands Mission Ministry, Godly Ladies of Wisdom Women’s Ministry, Solid Rock Seniors Ministry, and as a Sunday School teacher.
Min. Payne and Rev. Hiller Payne have been married for 21 years. Together they have 3 adult children, 9 grandchildren, 1 foster grandson, and 2 great-grandchildren.
Min. Payne loves teaching and preaching. She is also an avid quilter. She has made over 30 quilts in the past 10 years, most of them gifted to family, friends, and charity.
Min. Payne is thankful for all the Lord’s blessings over the years, and is grateful to be in His service.
